Two Piece Wedding Band

Venture consists of James on Lead vocal/backing vocals and on bass guitar, with Douglas on Lead vocals/backing vocals and on Lead and rhythm guitar.

They have the advantage and addition of digitally produced backing tracks used on stage, which helps to cover a much wider selection on music.

Venture is a long established 2 piece band, and has been together since 1984, and specialises in Weddings, Functions and Dinner/Dances, and over the years the band has played in all the top hotels in Glasgow and surrounding areas, as far as Edinburgh in the east and north to the Gleneagles Hotel.

Over the years we have been resident in hotels for, Dinner/Dances, Weddings, Functions, with full entertainment package for festive season party nights, and Hogmanay celebrations.

Apart from providing an extensive range of music to suit all ages and tastes, from Scottish dance /ceilidh music to the latest pop chart music, the band also provide back ground music if required for the earlier part of the evening, such as during the meal, or prior in the evening before guests arrive or before the evening just gets under way.

In addition to this, a full range of Disco and Dance music can be provided during the band’s break if required. This could keep the momentum and atmosphere going and provide a two tier and more versatile entertainment package. For the final touch in creating the correct atmosphere, the band has its own full stage and dance floor lighting system.

The bands equipment and floor lighting system do not take up an enormous amount of stage or floor space which means we do not spill onto the dance floor with masses amounts of equipment, and if space is at a premium we can generally accommodate and fit into small or tight venues.
