Loudon Ceilidh
The Loudon Ceilidh is a lively three piece ceilidh band,
featuring Guy Wiley on accordion, Elizabeth Robertson on
fiddle and Jennifer Wiley on keyboard and vocals.
The band covers all popular ceilidh dances including
Dashing White Sergeant, Canadian Barn Dance, Strip The
Willow, Gay Gordons, St. Bernard’s Waltz, Pride Of Erin
Waltz, Virginia Reel, Military Two Step, Circassian
Circle, etc.
They can also play for less well-known dances upon
request.
Featuring a female vocalist, Jennifer, who sings classic
swing numbers for occasional quicksteps, foxtrots and
modern waltzes. This has proved popular with many people
due to the revival in popularity of ballroom dancing
while others like to listen as they take a breather.
Jennifer can also provide live singing during a meal
when required.
To keep up with modern day demands we have added a disco
to our service which can be provided along with the
ceilidh when required.
Our professional musicianship, high-spec sound system
and professional stage and disco lighting, all combine
to ensure your function is a night to remember.
