Allan Stewart

Entertainer
Allan Stewart realised
that he had a talent for entertaining people at the
tender age of twelve.
Allan was one of the youngest entertainers ever to have
his own TV series, Hello Good Evening and Welcome for
Scottish Television.
By twenty-one he had recorded several albums, and a
number of TV series including his own The Allan Stewart
Show. During the eighties he had a hit single, The
Opening Night, starred in five series of LWT's
successful Copy Cats and hosted his own game show Chain
Letters.
Allan's live appearances have taken him around the
world, as a star attraction on the Q.E.11 entertaining
audiences of all nationalities. He has co-starred with
Petula Clarke in Canada, had his own revue in Australia
and appeared at virtually every major theatre in the
U.K.
He was honoured to appear on the Royal Variety
Performance in 1995
One of the highlights of Allan's career was taking over
the lead in Jolson, the Musical in London's Victoria
Palace Theatre and then going on to Canada for six
months with the show.
Allan is undoubtedly one of the top live acts in the UK
.
